SPK Komplex
Director: Gerd KroskeProgramme Text
“Turn illness into a weapon”: under this anti– psychiatric slogan, the Socialist Patients’ Collective (SPK) was founded in February 1970 by doctor Wolfgang Huber and a number of patients and students in Heidelberg. It lasted until July 1970, when it was dissolved due to its links to the RAF. Huber and his wife were arrested for involvement in a criminal organisation. Kroske’s documentary research is dedicated to this untold story of the “German pre-Autumn.”
