Markus Metz & Georg Seeßlen

In 2011, the authors of the book Blödmaschinen (Stupid Machines) attempted to describe the depletion of people’s minds as a socialmachinic process. This was at a time when neoliberalism was spreading from the boardrooms and think tanks into culture and everyday life. 14 years later, it’s all about how these heads can be refilled once again. With a worldview whose stupidity is only surpassed by its perfidy – the right-wing narrative of what has to go, what has to be taken back, and what we need to make great again.
