Program text

Without Robert Henke the history of electronic music in the last decades would have been a different one. The software “Ableton Live”, which he co-developed at the end of the 90s, has been the most important and influential means of production for generations of artists. In his own projects Henke explores the synaesthesia from even rhythms, light, and moving installations. At donaufestival he presents the performance CBM 8032 AV, which he developed together with Anna Tskhovrebov, with graphics and sound generated by five Commodore CBM 8032 computers from 1980.
