Program text

Genesis Machine from 1983 was the name of the first commercially available aeroponic apparatus, which enabled plant growth outside of soil with the aid of a hydro-atomised nutrient spray. In their latest project version reflecting upon this machine, knowbotiq investigate a new type of agriculture based on microbiomes developed by the company Indigo. Microbiomes form a symbiotic relationship with crops and reprogram them. The hybrid figuration of the Genesis Machines envisions this new form and concept of life on a molecular level.
