The deepest, most peculiar vibrations you can experience at this edition of donaufestival are devised by USAmerican, Stockholm based composer Kali Malone. She amalgamates analogue and electronic oscillations, woodwind instruments with Buchla 200 synthesizers, string quartets with sine waves and creates the most astounding music with pipe organs, whose sound is spatialised with complex miking arrangements. She makes the bodies of her audience vibrate while pulling the floor out from under their feet. At concerts by Kali Malone you stagger and sway, staring deep into the inner depths and darkness.
