How can sound throw the hearing faculty and the brain completely out of whack? That is the question that preoccupies US-American composer and artist Eric Frye in his solo performances and multimedia installations. At donaufestival he will present his new work Pink Sewer: a series of psychoactive acoustic scenes in which the audience’s perception is so intensely disturbed and confused that the distinction between self and self-delusion disappears. Parallel to his artistic activities, Frye works as a baker in his hometown Minneapolis.
