SOUND
Sometimes it sounds like disco, sometimes like boogie, you might also think of dub-techno pioneers like Rhythm & Sound. All of a sudden, the floor below the easy-going reverberating psychedelic rhythms opens up, and we are sucked down to unfathomable depths. Grim Lusk from Glasgow fill the dance floor with organic, slightly sweaty, chippering beats – but underneath looms a persistent ambivalence that comes from the ephemerality of everything organic and sweaty: Whoever dances is alive, but who knows what happens when the dance is over.
