SOUND
Stones, trees, pots, and furniture: That’s just a few of the sound sources that the Swiss producer Manuel Oberholzer alias Feldermelder uses to compose his music. He samples his melodies and rhythms from everyday objects and nature sounds to create psychedelic panoramas, which occasionally spark a pinch of disco beat. At donaufestival he presents his multimedia performance Erratic, which he developed together with VJs from the Supermafi a collective; their visuals envelope his body and his sounds in a cocoon of iridescent, responsive light.
