This formation from Munich is celebrated as the rediscovery in the post-punk cosmos. They quote the Fehlfarben slogan “Geschichte wird gemacht” (History is made) and supplement it with “doch nicht von dir” (but not by you) and receive comparisons with the early Nina Hagen. Frontwoman Nina Walser rattles off her feisty texts, gutterally and sonorous, as if she has been screaming herself hoarse for years at the stupidity of the world. Bass and drums propel the songs through time, guitars and vocals indulge us with accents of noise and melody in the uniformness of Kraut mantras – a disillusioned revolt, a solemn will to eradicate.
