They are not only the best-dressed men that you will find at this festival; Fela Gucci and Desire Marea also perform the most audacious moves, dances, and transformations. As the duo FAKA they celebrate black queer identity and love in all of their forms. Since their first appearances in the Johannesburg art and club scene three years ago they have been opening eyes and ears with their videos, performances, installations, and not least with their vibrant tracks. They cross the South African house variant Gqom with archaic gospel songs and perverse polymorphous high-speed rap.
